Procurement of Medical Devices in Ukraine: Trends of 2022

Despite growing geopolitical instability in early 2022, public procurement of medical devices in Ukraine remained active. Through the Prozorro system, hospitals and clinics continued to purchase essential equipment and consumables.
Among the most frequently purchased items were diagnostic test kits, disposable gloves, syringes, and disinfectants. Suppliers from the EU and China remained key partners, adjusting their logistics chains to meet demand.
The stable application of Technical Regulations No. 753, No. 754, and No. 755 allowed importers to continue working without sudden legislative changes. Many international manufacturers used this period to prepare documentation, register new products, and strengthen their market positions in Ukraine.
